The 11-member idol group GANG PARADE, under WACK, has announced the premiere of the music video for “Muri Muri Kimoi” tonight, August 24 (Sunday) at 10:00 PM. The track, written by producer Junnosuke Watanabe and artist Seiko Oomori, was included in their major 3rd album GANG RISE released in June, and quickly gained buzz upon the reveal of its credits.

The MV is a bold project composed of 100 short videos, each synced to the track. These clips were created by GANG PARADE’s 11 members as well as directors who have long been involved with the group’s works: Naoki Arima (“Hey! Ho! Saikou Jan!”), Yuichiro Saeki (“Sparkling Moon”), YUKARI (“Yokudou,” “Good Luck My Future”), Takumi Gunji (“Itsuka,” aftermovies), and Kazuki Honma (“So many members,” “lol”). These videos had been secretly uploaded over time across multiple TikTok accounts without prior notice.

Ultimately, filmmaker Hiroki Iwabuchi, who has close ties with WACK, compiled and edited the 100 clips into one powerful piece. Each director’s unique take on “kimoi” (awkward, gross, weird) merges into a dense, overwhelming work, one that demands repeated viewing.

GANG PARADE will also host their outdoor one-man live “Kyoyu” on August 31 (Sun) at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, presented by Pia. In September, they will kick off their fan club exclusive “ONCE MORE PARADE TOUR,” where past shows—chosen by fan votes—will be fully recreated.
