Produced by Moritaka Kinoshita, Mélon Batake a go go is a six-member idol group consisting of Chiyo Tomoyo, Miyabi Nanami, Kotomi Kuzuki, Usako Minano, Candy Yamauchi, and Yulane Hoshino. Their performances are rooted in a sound heavily influenced by the new wave punk and beat punk movements of the 1980s and 1990s.
