“MAPA is an idol group formed by Megumi Koshoji, who has been active for 10 years as a member of BiS and Maison book girl, now performing under her own name. The group’s name, MAPA, stands for MADPARTY, embodying their concept of delivering high-quality music while hosting wild, festival-like performances. Currently, the group consists of six members: Koshoji Megumi, Mayo Ushiro, Yusura Shiou, Emu Jinzai, Kurumi Toka, and Misahime Midoriyama, who joined in January 2024. All songs are produced, written, and composed by Seiko Omori, with arrangements and sound design handled by members of Shitenno Band, Omori’s own band. This collaboration results in performances that showcase a distinct and immersive world. MAPA made their debut in October 2021 at TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL 2021, releasing their first album, “”Shitenno,”” just a month later in November. In August 2024, they released their latest album, “”SIIX SENCE,”” under their current lineup. On January 17, 2025, after selling out Meguro Persimmon Hall, their largest venue yet, the six members continue to ride the momentum, promising even crazier festivals this summer.”
