biography:

demipogune is a group proposing a completely new form of music not only within the idol scene but also across J-POP as a whole, which they call “Electro-Idolic-Funk.” While incorporating the pop song framework, their sound is uniquely characterized by weaving funk and R&B rhythm approaches into a “kawaii” aesthetic.

Their music, which seamlessly balances between playful kawaii and serious tones, is something that neither bands nor solo singers could fully embody—its expression is distinctly “idolic.”

Lyrics, composition, and production are handled by bassist Toughness. The members are Mona Sugomeno, Karen-chan, and Oreno Reno [from left to right].
