WACK, which produced BiSH,WACK, the music production company behind BiSH and Mame-Shiba no Taigun, held its first overseas showcaseconcert, “WACK in the UK,” at The Underworld live house in London, England on Thursday, November 16, 2023 (local time).

WACK representative Junnosuke Watanabe, currently residing in London, appeared on stage and greeted the audience in English. The “WACK fans” in London were thrilled. ■ASP

ASP kicked off their first overseas performance with the group’s first song, “Dear Rockstar,” followed by the previously unreleased “Tokyo Sky Blues,” “TOXiC iNVASiON,” a song based on the original song work provided by Maxim (The Prodigy), and a digital-style song that resonated with the audience. The second performer was AiNATOAOI, a special unit formed by AiNA THE ENDna the End and dancer/model Aoi Yamada for this performance. From the start, fans demanded chanted, “AiNATOAOI!” and called out their names together as the lights went down. The two, in bright red suits, made a surprise appearance through a door on the side of the stage. Aina’s voice commanded the audience as “Red:birthmark” began to play, and Aoi’s dance moves were so lively and seductive that the two intertwined their expressions. They owned the stage, singing and dancing their way across it to further demonstrate their undeniable charm.

■ExWHYZ

Taking the baton from the artistic AiNATOAOI, ExWHYZ opened their first overseas tour with “6WHYZ,” a self-introduction rap song, which started with Mmaho’s “Let’s enjoy!” They then got the audience moving with “FIRST STEP,” a catchy pop song, and “NOT SORRY,” a fast-paced rock song from 2023. The girls showed they were masters of live performance right from the start with “Walk This Way,” a quiet R&B song that had the audience dancing in the aisles.

Yu-ki boldly asked the audience in English, “Are you having fun?”　Let’s have fun together! Mikina asked the masters, a collective term for ExWHYZ fans, “masters” (ExWHYZ fans) “What’s up?” and they responded with tremendous cheers. However, Mikina stumbled over her English words and blushed, or and even forgot to say her own name, prompting Maho to remind her. This drew laughter from the masters in the audience.

In the second half of the live, they transformed the venue into a club with “xANADU-BLAZE” and “Des Speeching,” and performed “Obsession” in English, a local version. The masters were even more excited. Then they performed “ANSWER,” and the masters clapped loudly. Junnosuke Watanabe reappeared on stage after the three groups finished their performances. He then called all the performing members together again, and Watanabe made an important announcement. The audience cheered loudly when Watanabe announced that the second London performance would be held as early as March 27 next year.
