【LIVE REPORT】KiSS KiSS Celebrates Their 2nd Anniversary with a Sold-Out Crowd of KiSSERS in Shibuya – A Day Overflowing with “Kawaii”

March 03, 2025

WACK idol group KiSS KiSS held a special one-man live show titled KiSS×2 you KiSS on Thursday, March 20, 2025 (a national holiday), at Spotify O-WEST in celebration of their 2nd anniversary.

KiSS KiSS is a five-member idol group composed of KiLA MAY, CA NON, CHANGBABY, NARUHAWORLD, and AiNASTAR—who are also active members of GANG PARADE. Within the WACK roster, KiSS KiSS stands out as an alternative presence, positioning themselves as a more traditional, “orthodox” idol group.

As the show began, the familiar intro SE played, and the five members appeared on stage, kicking things off with “iNAi iNAi BA.” They followed up with the playful “WANWANO-LOVE” and then performed the fan-favorite introduction song, “Kawaii nante iwanaide.”

“We’re here to deliver a KiSS to you! We are KiSS KiSS. Thank you for coming!” they greeted the crowd together, before each member introduced herself individually. “The next song is one where you can KiSS along with us!” announced NARUHA, leading into “KiSS KiSS KiSS,” a techno-inspired track where the audience chanted “KiSS” in rhythm with a traditional sansan-nana byoushi cheer. The energy climbed even higher with the Eurobeat-infused “Hotchu!”, followed by the soulful and danceable “FRANKENSTEiN,” which had the KiSSERS (the group’s official fan name) hyped and fully engaged.

Next came the group’s signature “Boxchu Talk” segment, where each member draws a random prompt from a box and delivers a heart-throbbing line based on the theme. This time, the prompt was: “What would you say to make your boyfriend’s heart race on your second anniversary together?” One by one, the members delivered their sweetest lines, eliciting squeals and cheers from the fans. The winner, determined by the loudest applause, was NARUHA, whose line—“I’ll try my best to be your first and last girlfriend. I’ll always love you.”—earned her the MVP title.

The group then launched into a cheerful trio of songs: “CHOCO KiSS!!,” “SEEK,” and “Cake!” After a quick break to introduce new merchandise, the members returned with light sticks in hand and lit up the venue alongside the audience during “Twilight.” They followed up with a flurry of feel-good performances: “MARSHMALLOW BODY,” “kiminoichibanninaritakute,” and “KiSS KiSS SUNSET,” before pausing for an emotional MC.

AiNASTAR took the mic to thank the fans for two incredible years. “During our first year, we were still figuring out what ‘cute’ really meant to us,” she shared. “But in our second year, we were able to express our own version of ‘kawaii’ with more confidence. It’s all thanks to KiSSERS who call us cute.” She also looked to the future: “In our third year, we’ll keep studying ‘kawaii’ and deliver even more of our unique KiSS KiSS style.”

The emotional momentum continued into the final stretch of the show, featuring the ballad-like “ANOHiNO MELODY,” the anthemic “Fanfare,” the high-speed “UTEN KEKKOU,” and finally, the crowd-pleasing “rakuenkyu-topia.” The members left the stage to thunderous cheers from the audience.

In response to the relentless “Chu chu chu—” encore chants from the KiSSERS, the five members returned to the stage. They burst into a lively performance of “iDEAL,” and even filmed a TikTok with the fans to the tune of “Kawaii nante iwanaide,” which they then performed again in full. Wrapping up the announcements, CA NON revealed that KiSS KiSS will begin a monthly residency live starting in May, running for six months. This exciting news was met with roaring applause.

Finally, the group performed their debut-era anthem “KiSSES” with everything they had, bringing the anniversary celebration to a joyful and heartwarming conclusion.
