“MAMESHiBA NO TAiGUN was formed in 2019 as part of the TBS variety show “”Wednesday Downtown”” project “”MONSTER IDOL.”” Produced by Kuro-chan, the five-member idol group consists of AiKA THE SPY, NAO OF NAO, LEONAEMPiRE, MOMOTi NGALE, and HANAEMONSTER. They made their major label debut with avex in Tokyo Dome, just four days after their debut, setting the record for the fastest time in history and drawing significant attention. They also won the Newcomer of the Year Award at the Japan Record Awards. In 2022, they merged with another group from Tokyo, born out of the show’s “”MONSTER LOVE”” project, and began performing under the name MAMESHiBA NO TAiGUN TONAiBOUSHO a.k.a. MONSTERIDOL from January 2024. On the January 8, 2025 broadcast of “”Wednesday Downtown,”” it was announced that Kuro-chan, who had originally served as an advisor, would officially return as producer, and HANAEMONSTER would also rejoin the group. On the same day, the group announced that they would return to their original name. Alongside this announcement, they released the music video and digital distribution of their new song, “”Reload,”” written by Kuro-chan.”
